What are the best birth control pills out there? USERS ONLY PLEASE!?

I've had the Mirena IUD for the past 5 years & I am scheduled to have it removed later in the week. I was planning on having the Mirena reinserted but my insurance isnt going to cover it so I've decided to go with "the pill". I know that birth control pills have come along way in the past few years so I just want honest opinions on the different ones & the pros & cons of each. Please only answer if you've personally used the type of birth control pill that you're referring to. Thanks in advance :)
