Why do some people accuse men who seek equal rights of being misogynists?

Well like the mainstream feminist factions the mra too have been pirated by hate mongers but it is more PC to run down a men's advocacy group so more public scrutiny is heaped on the MRA but that not say that feminist don't get trashed also. Really what I am saying is both MRA and feminists do a piss poor job policing the leadership of their respective movements so the good of each get lumped in with the visible and outspokenly hateful.
